Author - Marci Hartmann
Marci holds a Master's degree in Education and used her 25 years in teaching to reach all students, from elementary age to graduating high school seniors. Marci has since retired. While she misses the energy of the students, she finds a quiet energy in chasing sunsets in California, relaxing at the beach, and savors time spent with her husband and their kids. Marci also delights in time with her grandson and her little corgi Gracie.
And...sometimes, just like the book, you might even find her talking with a butterfly.
Illustrator - Shelley Dieterichs
Artist and children's illustrator Shelley Dieterichs has been a freelance designer and illustrator for over 40 years. She has illustrated numerous children's books and educational materials.
